Our Laurium store is located at 212 Lake Linden Avenue in Laurium. 41 LUMBER opened the Laurium store just four years after the company was founded in 1925. This location was established to serve the north end of the Keweenaw Peninsula and the local copper mines. To help level employment during the long winter months the company sold hardwood slabs, coal and eventually fuel oil and gasoline. In 1975 the company divested itself of the fuel business as well as the construction arm of the company.

Our Laurium store is a full line retail hardware store and also stocks a complete line of building materials. The closeness of our Houghton store means Laurium can also draw from Houghton's inventory if need be.

Theresa Frantti, our Kitchen Specialist in Houghton also services the Laurium store by appointment. Chuck Junot is our Outside Salesman and is a State of Michigan Licensed Residential Builder with many years of experience in the Laurium market.
